It's the latest healthcare project deployment from Maven Wireless. The DAS now provides multioperator 3G/4G and TETRA coverage in the Ljungby hospital.
MIC Nordic announced that it has delivered a multi-operator solution to Ljungby Hospital in Southern Sweden.
The company was trusted by Region Kronoberg to update all major healthcare facilities in the region with technology from Maven Wireless.
The first healthcare facility was the hospital in Ljungby, where they expanded the existing antenna network with fiber-fed DAS in combination with the existing RAKEL nationwide TETRA communications system.
The hospital now welcomes both staff and visitors with 4G for all operators. In order ot make the system futureproof, the solution is also prepared for 5G.
The system supports #5G and Rakel G2 (Public Safety LTE).
